RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Here at Building Products Direct, we try our best to ensure you’re happy with your purchase. We aim to represent our products as accurately as possible to help you choose the product you need, but we know that sometimes things change – so we’re pleased to be able to offer you 30 days to return your purchase, and we’ll gladly offer a full refund or exchange. There are a few conditions, and some products are excluded, please see below for full details. Our Returns Policy includes, and does not seek to exclude or limit, the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changed your mind or ordered the wrong product?

No problem, we offer 30 Day returns on most new, unopened and unused items. There are a few conditions, and product exceptions, please see exclusions list below.

We can refund the purchase price subject to the following conditions:

  • Please email admin@buildingproducts.direct with your order number and the product you would like to return.
  • Item(s) must be received within 30 days of purchase, together with proof of purchase.
  • Item(s) must be unused, unopened and in original saleable condition.
  • If you request a refund, the purchase price (excluding delivery charges) will be refunded to you using the original payment method, once we have received the returned item back and confirmed that it meets the conditions above.
  • You are responsible for any costs associated with returning the item to us including any currency conversion and/or local or international. For operation reasons, we will confirm the return address once a return request has been lodged.
  • Where a product is sold with free shipping, we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee on returned items.

Received Something Faulty?

If you’ve received a product which is faulty, or incorrectly described or different from the sample shown (first of all, sorry, this is our bad) we will happily meet our legal and good-natured obligations which may include refunding the purchase price and delivery charges, or providing a replacement product provided the item is returned within a 30 Days with proof of purchase. Unfortunately, shipping costs can’t be refunded if there are other items listed on the original invoice that you aren’t returning.
